Thank you for being so vulnerable. By the time I got to the end of this post, I was smiling ear to ear! I truly believe in manifestation. Everything my husband and I have manifested and meditated on has happened (of course, with us pushing a ton and not giving up). Now, that doesn't mean they came in the form we were hoping for, but they came. I'll come back to this post to remind myself that things will happen.
I love everything about this, your belief, your persistence, and the way you stay open to the unexpected. That’s the true spirit of manifesting. It’s so encouraging to hear how it’s all been unfolding for you and your husband. I’m grateful this post can be a place you return to when you need a little reminder.
With you every step of this post .. I was washed up on the beach of life twelve years ago, having stumbled and crawled though two very different abusive marriages. I had little respect or love for myself.. it had been screamed and beaten out of me. Yet five years later I discovered a similar way to re programme my mind and it’s been transformational. I started with the “I am … “ phrases and worked through the old stories etc until I started to love and believe in myself.
I’m now a totally different person. It works. I’m living proof as are you.
Carolyn your story touches my heart deeply and shows the incredible power of healing and self love. You have walked through darkness and emerged stronger and more whole. Your journey is a beautiful reminder that transformation is possible for all of us. Together we stand as living proof of this truth. I am honored to share this space with you and grateful for your courage and honesty.
Thank you for sharing your story and your family is just beautiful. I always say there's something about a story that helps us to connect with its meaning and see parts of ourselves revealed within it. This resonates deeply with me in so many ways. I used to have a daily gratitude practice that I have gotten away from. Your story reminded me this is something I need to revisit.
I really enjoyed reading this! Thank you for sharing your journey. You’ve beautifully summarised the steps you took to empower yourself. Sending love to you and your family ❤️
Shartaya, this touched me so deeply. Your strength, your journey, and the joy in these photos, it all speaks volumes. Thank you for sharing something so personal and powerful. Wishing you love and light as you step into your dreams. ❤️🌸
Thank you so much, Saima, for this loving message. I’m truly grateful for your beautiful words. Sending that same love and light right back to you. Here’s to both of us walking boldly toward the lives we’re meant to live. ❤️❤️🌸
Thank you so much for your beautiful and heartfelt reply . Your kindness means a lot to me. Together, let’s keep shining our light and embracing the journey ahead with courage and love. 🥰
I know exactly how you felt at rock bottom. I had a similar journey but I was younger, barely an adult - escaping my childhood and everyone I had ever known to restart my life in peace. It takes a lot of bravery to start again and it is hard. Head over to my Substack @authorblogger and check out my journey, or go to my website: www.elizabethwoodsauthor.com
Elizabeth, your story holds so much strength. Thank you for sharing. It’s a powerful reminder that healing is possible, and new beginnings are always within reach.
Very inspiring! The hidden suffering is an important concept we hear so often on social media but it’s just as relevant as a mask offline. So many ideas for resilience building!

Appreciate you, Ryan. The hidden pain offline is so often missed. Grateful the post offered something meaningful, resilience starts there.
